Verification Failed - There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server

Ok - Apple you really have to have a fix for this.

I am not able to sign into iTunes on my Windows 10 system or use the iCloud app.

I keep getting the error

Verification Failed

There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server

I have logged in to both sites before.

I have no firewall turned on.

I have tried disabling my Anti-Virus software

If I go to the web - I can sign in without any issue.

I can access iTunes on a different computer - it is not my phone - it is my laptop computer that is giving me this error.

It all started 2 revisions ago of the iTunes / iCloud application software.

I am suspecting it is something local on my system - in the Windows Registry - something should either be a "1" or a "0" (on or off).

Please help!
